We didn't know what to expect and absolutely fell in love with this island, and the accommodations were amazing! It's just a 20 minute walk from the ferry, lots of signs directing us towards the house. Incredible views of the Cliffs of Moher! Our room faced the Cliffs but even if it didn't, there's a huge window in the common space that does. It was so nice having some snacks and coffee/tea waiting for us when we got there as well as we had a long morning. The hosts were able to let us in the room when we arrived an hour early, but if not they would have allowed us to leave our luggage there. We did leave our luggage the next morning as our ferry left a couple hours after check-out which was super helpful. The bed was really comfortable, we had the best sleep of all week! The room, and house, was beautiful and so clean. A lot of attention to detail was put in by the owner when he built it! If we are ever fortunate enough to make it back here, we will be staying at the Cliffs of Moher View House!

Located on the historic Aran Island of Inís Mór, Kilmurvey House offers free WiFi in public areas. Dating back to the 18th century, the property is just 5 minutes’ drive from a Blue Flag Kilmurvey Beach and 4 miles from Kilronan Ferry Port. Loved that there was a bathtub. Hard to find places with tubes now.

Ard Mhuiris B&B enjoys a peaceful location, within 5-7 minutes’ walk of the local shop, pubs, restaurants and the harbour. Ferries run to the island from Galway and Doolin on the Irish mainland. The island provides excellent opportunities for surfing, and stunning scenery to enjoy while walking or cycling. The Bean An Ti (Woman of the house) was extremely welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was exceptional to a point we asked for extra and it was not an issue.

Overlooking the Connemara coast and Galway Bay, Tigh Fitz Bed and Breakfast is located on Inis More which is the largest of the 3 Aran Islands and features several ancient stone forts and churches. Kilronan, the island capital, is just 1.6 km away. Penny and her colleague are incredible hosts, thank you again for your tips and everything else, we felt very welcome right from the beginning! Breakfast was delicious and fresh. Beds were comfy, very clean room and bathroom. I would recommend this place 100 percent. The walk to the Supermarket and/or Pub is about half an hour or you can call a driver (we did one night, no problem at all). We did an Island-Tour with the funny and kind driver Noel right after the ferry arrived: do that :) you see/learn a lot.
