Accessed only by boat from Panajachel, the apartments at Atitlan Sunset Lodge Apartments come with a large seating area, plus a dining table and a private terrace with lake views. The private bathrooms are equipped with a shower and toilet. We loved this place! Beautiful building located right on the lake with its own private dock, hot tub and sauna. The apartment was very clean with a fully equipped kitchen area and lovely balcony. The views of the lake were outstanding. A particular highlight was the food - we (both carnivores) were both nervous about the fully vegan restaurant but the food, prepared by the talented chef Andreas, absolutely blew us away and we looked forward to eating here every morning and evening. The staff were lovely, local and friendly. The host, Armand, was also great and was responsive, friendly, and has created something really special here! We extended our sty by a night as we loved it so much.

The apartment was in a great location and super clean. We could walk everywhere, including the dock, restaurants, and shops. Communication with the host was also quick and easy.

It's part of a property with several other bungalows behind a pricey but tasty coffee shop/cafe (Nativo Coffee Shop). It had an eco filter and an ice machine, so free ice water was awesome
