It's a max 10 minute walk (easy for dinner) down a quiet street and is completely safe. I would much rather be slightly out of the centre as well when trying to sleep.

Nearby restaurants, coffee houses and bars provide for a diversified choice, all very much "feet in water" all times. The bust stop to connect to other parts of Signos is just at the door.
