The guest house features family rooms as well as facilities for disabled guests. I had such a beautiful stay, I was received with so much genuine warmth and generosity and I’m looking forward to visiting again one day. The room was lovely as were the sitting areas in the gardens with their breezey ocean views. It was also within walking distance to great swimming spots and delicious food.

Just 300 metres from Paleopolis Beach in Avlemonas, Anemes is a whitewashed building featuring self-catered rooms with a veranda overlooking the Aegean Sea, Kythira’s landscape and the garden. Free WiFi access is offered. Excellent location. Our studio was spacious and well maintained. There were all the amenities, such as coffee maker, espresso machine, fridge and a stove. Bathroom was large and modern. Comfortable beds. There was also a large balcony with beautiful views of the Paleopoli beach. The owners were very friendly, laid back and made us feel at home. A great plus the choice to bring the huge breakfast that they served to your room and enjoy the great views while having it. Parking was easy right across the street.

Nostos is 2 km away from the beach of Kapsali. The scenic village of Livadi is within a 5-minute drive. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi access in its public areas, while free parking is possible nearby. This is a fabulous old guesthouse probably dating from the 1800's and sympathetically modernised with en-suite facilities. the breakfast in the snack bar (across the archway in the same building) was plentiful and good value for money. A nice quiet location in the heart of the chora. Be warned though - if you have any mobility issues, or struggle with stairs - then this is not for you! Car parking is a good walk away.
