The owner of the property is always smiley and very helpful. It is located very close to the live Vourkari area, where you can find breakfast, delicious food and go out for drinks. However it is very calm and quiet as it is located a few hundred meters out of Vourkari. You can access easily the north part of the island and the beautiful beaches. It is very close by car to the port Korissia, the city Ioulida, and about a 30min drive from Koundouros.

The rooms are magnificent, in traditional Cycladic style, tastefully decorated and very functional. And spotless clean. The owner is very welcoming and friendly. Communication was very easy and pleasant. A plus: his red wine is really superb.

Magical property with beautiful location in the hills, close walk to the beach and quick cheap taxi ride from the port. The staff was kind and helpful, fresh breakfast was provided and delicious. The hotel itself is stunning, architecturally beautiful, and the room was perfect for the 4 of us, coming with a fully equipped kitchen and patio to sit outside protected from the sun. The room was clean and the service was great. There were cats wandering around the common area sleeping in the sun, they troubled no one and were very cute and friendly. You probably shouldn’t pet them though. Overall, an incredible experience we would all return to.

A supermarket for the essentials can be found 1,3 km away from Cavo d’ Oro. Kea Port lies 1.4 km. Free parking is possible on site. My wife and I very much enjoyed our stay here. It is a cute, cozy little room with a beautiful view of the city and the port. The hosts were helpful and responsive. You can walk to town from the room either down the road, or via a short cut that one of the hosts will gladly point out to you. Be warned though that it is rather steep and has some loose rocks. One note of caution: the walls were somewhat thin and we could hear our neighbors alarm going off for about an hour from 5-6AM. Bring earplugs!
