Room was clean and had all one would need. The room also had a balcony overlooking the square. We also used the car parking which was a few moments away.

The rooms are distributed among 3 different buildings and all offer lovely views of the surrounding countryside or park. Such a lovely place to stay. The hotel's facilities are very clean, tastefully done and lots of space. The grounds are almost magical, they're really beautiful. Especially at sunset. The location is perfect- walking distance to the top of the Chateau at Rocamadour - it's about a 30-40 minute walk through gorgeous countryside, along vineyards, farms and old paths. Or you can rent electric bikes from Rocamadour and just explore everywhere. We did this for two days and it was so much fun. The owners of the hotel are very knowledgable about the area and quite happy to share their knowledge. Definitely ask them! Without question, we'll stay here again. It actually exceeded our expectations. I have to add, the breakfast was very good- all local and fresh products- completely a treat.

Le Troubadour features guest rooms and apartments carefully designed in a country style. They feature whitewashed walls, oak wooden floors and furniture made by a local artisan. Some rooms have a view of the swimming pool. Despite our off-season and very short visit to Rocamadour , we very much enjoyed our stay at the Le Troubadour - a little heaven close and distant enough from high-season crowds. Tips for the close-by villages, the very practically set up breakfast and the breakfast wine were surely good fuel for the rest of the trip.
