We enjoyed our stay with Nelson at Las Palmas. He, and his young manager Victor, was so helpful and friendly. Our cabin was neat, clean and very comfortable and the pool was great. Breakfasts and the dinner we enjoyed at the Finca were delicious.

The hotel had character and our room had a view of the river. The have a very reasonably priced package tour where you stay overnight in a cabin in the jungle after a full day of activities and canoeing down the river. We took it and the family loved it. The hotel is in a quiet part of town, but only a few blocks from the main plaza and the beach where all the monkeys play.

Hidden in the Amazonian Rainforest, Banana Lodge is a family-run B&B situated directly on the tropical Misahualli Riverside, a 10-minute walk from the town centre. It offers activity packed jungle tours and clean rooms with plenty of natural light. The location right next to the river is amazing since you can even swim there. It feels like paradise! Room was really clean and cozy. Anna and Eduardo were the best hosts anyone could ever wish for. The helped us so much during our stay. Also the breakfast was delicious. We would definitly go back!

This hotel is the perfect example for the essential accomodation and services that any traveller needs. Nothing more, but nothing less, but gives you everything you expect. Perfect location, english speaking staff, free parking, WiFi and comfortable room of course. All of this without unnecessary administration and questions. It's rare to give 10 points to budget hotels, but this hotel definitely deserves.
I saw some negative complaints, which I don't understand. I have no negative complaints. Sure it is a budget hotel, if you want 5 stars, pay 150 a night up the street. It's an extremely good budget hotel, very cheap. The staff was wonderful. Stayed up past midnight to greet me from my late flight. The location of the hostel near the thermal baths was ideal and the room was clean and comfortable.
We visited Papallacta primarily to visit the baths fed by the hot springs inside the ‘Termos de Papallacta’ resort. There is a hotel inside the resort, but it’s very expensive. Mamallacta is a wonderful alternative as it is located just a few minutes walk from the entrance to the resort and is a great deal more affordable. Additionally we found Mamallacta Lodge to be comfortable and clean. The food was good, and the quality of service offered by the staff was exceptional.
This is a beautiful space with a very creative design aesthetic. We were very happy with the staff, the location, and the comfort of the space. This is located within a few minutes walk of the Papallacta Hot Springs, making it an ideal location to stay.
The location was perfect. Far enough from the town to be quieter and have an elevated position with great view but close enough to easily walk or catch a cheap taxi home.
Zumag Sisa has a warm, welcoming atmosphere. It is a cosy place, ideal for backpackers, and you get to meet friends and fellow travelers while staying there. Location is great, the staff is attending to your needs, advice is given on activities around Tena. The Hostel offers value for money, and its people offer help on your journey in many ways. If I am back in Tena, I'd stay there again.
