Starting with the care shown by its manager (sorry, I forgot your name), the staff, the rooms, breakfast…everything was much nicer compared to other hotels at similar prices in the area.

The Service is amazing, very friendly and 24h reception. The Room is very clean.

I was referred to this super hotel by another Ex-pat after asking for suggestions on affordable, clean hotels in Santo Domingo. Hostel San Francisco de Asis is definitely well within those parameters. Great staff and location.
The room was very clean. The breakfast really exceeded our expectations and the staff really took great care of us and made sure that they helped us wherever they could. The location was great, just a few minutes walk from all of the mayor sites in the old town.

The location is top. 70 meters from the main pedestrian street. The apartment is not as bad as the bad room I stayed in. It's cheap. But....
Cost was $1380 in DR and they only accept cash (no credit card). Small, simple, and there was a hole in the wall, but it was clean . ( there was a humidity smell because no window but this humidity issue is everywhere on island mostly). Breakfast was tasty egg cheese ham sandwiches and coffee. Staff was nice. Location was great and next to restaurants and shops in the downtown Colonial District. Very cheap if it's your last money in vacation ))))
The location is fantastic! Right in the heart of the colonial district, steps from the cathedral and park. Santo Domingo is a fascinating, historic city. Good restaurants and bars with dancing all around. The staff was very nice. It's a budget hotel and the price is excellent.
It was a Bullseye! Not only due to the fact that it is an ideal location, but above all because of the unique team. The staff are very helpful at all times during your stay. The hotel, both in the public areas and in the rooms, was very clean. I will definitely come back here.
