Jo in fact drove all the way to Hobart to drop off some clothes we forgot at her place. The animals at farm and surprise visitors in the evening add to the charm.

Boasting a shared lounge and views of sea, Hanlon Guest House is a recently renovated guest house situated in Stanley, 400 metres from Godfreys Beach. Outdoor seating allows guests to sit outside and enjoy the good weather. I slept here for ten hours straight! It was incredibly quiet and comfortable. The location is excellent, very close to the penguin viewing spot. The internet connection is great, and I could log into Netflix on the TV to watch shows.
