The room is small but the overall room design is very thoughtful and it’s everything that the pictures show!! We love the place and we only wish we could stay there longer :)

Family-run since 1654, Hotel-Gasthof Maria Plain enjoys a quiet location surrounded by meadows and forests, only 250 metres from the pilgrimage church of Maria Plain and a 10-minute drive from Salzburg. Free WiFi is available. This is a really wonderful place for staying. Old building near the church with history. It is located on the hill, so you can see the whole city with the mountain view. Also I can recommend breakfast here and restaurant on the first floor. If you are traveling by car, this is the perfect variant (15-20 min to the city center by car). And great nature around. Some of the rooms are already renovated but the old ones have really stylish interiors (especially the room with a balcony). I will probably be back here.

Located in the centre of Eugendorf, a 15-minute drive from Salzburg, Salzburg Hotel Holznerwirt occupies a historic building dating back to 1390. Guests benefit from a modern spa area and a traditional restaurant. A very old historic building of the 14thC. Neat and spacious common areas, good sized bedrooms; down feather amenities; logo slippers, gowns, and ten out of ten heating; very clean spa. Linen change as you wished and towels daily. Breakfast: it was above and beyond with fresh produce and a full basket of local dishes, Austrian hams and cheeses, scrambled eggs, fluffy viennese croissants, vegan & vegetarian diets, breads, desserts etc and a large assortment of juices, teas & coffees. Lunch and dinner: it was a pleasant experience too. The service of the staff: was excellent with very polite staff available to assist you in any in-house enquiries to suggestions for outdoor experiences. Location: location was value for money! Hotel in a small village, next to a large market center, a 14min drive to Salzburg Old Town and a 45min drive to the closest ski resort. We would definitely return to this gasthouse.
