The property was excellent for this price, conveniently located a walking distance from the beach, restaurants and grocery stores. The place was clean and comfortable. The room was enough to house 3 guests. There was plenty of tea and coffee supplies in the room. Hot and cold water was available at all times. The room has decent lighting and air-conditioning. Edie was very supportive throughout the stay and regularly checked in on us. She was kind enough to provide guidance regarding the locality and also help arrange for our departure to the airport.

First of all, it is worth noting that everything mentioned in the description to the room is accurate, but the most important aspect is the attitude, which can’t be highlights in the description but deserves much more than a 10 out of 10 rating. To save time, I’ll just share one example: I got sick and needed to go to the hospital. One of the hosts drove me there, waited until I was done, drove me to the pharmacy, back to home and later that evening, they offered me with dinner — all without charging me a single cent (even though I offered, feeling I should somehow show my gratitude). To me, this is the most important thing; you feel genuinely welcome because of this kind of care and attention. So, from my perspective, I can confidently recommend this place.

The apartment was just as in the photos and more so. It was very clean and easy to keep clean with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. As it is out in the countryside a short distance it is surrounded by paddocks and views of hills and a distant mountain. The toilet facility in the master bedroom was unexpected but appreciated. Bedrooms are spacious and the living area is very roomy with a large tv DVD and lounges to rest with your feet up. WiFi is good so we easily kept in touch with home.
The owners are just a short distance away and we're especially friendly and helpful.
This is a highly recommended apartment at a very reasonable price.

Quiet and private, location is beautiful right on the beach looking over to Hideaway Island, 1mn walk along the beach to The Beach Bar, cozy dining area on the beach, love the big fala breakfast (full on English BF)...beautiful lovely owners...We stayed at 3 different places/accommodations, althogh they all beautiful in their own ways, but VBA tick all the boxes for us. We are going back with grandchildren to VBA...

The private beach outside our fare with a fire setup was very cool. The walk across the island to Fred’s Beach was fantastic, beautiful beach and great snorkelling. The staff were really lovely and super helpful. The location was awesome.
This is not a resort for everyone but such a relaxing place.
I liked the calm, the fare (house) next to the water literally you walk 4m and you’re on your private beach and feet in water.

The location was beautiful quiet, plenty to do and see, Free to use kayaks/Paddle boards and snorkeling gear. was great to go scuba diving with the friendly hosts and my partner learnt to scuba dive with them.
