Maria was the best. Everybody was accommodating and helpful with our needs. Just one comment on the airconditioning unit. I wish they could make it more user friendly. I had to call in an engineer to teach me how to manage the room temp:). I was lucky enough to experience staying in one of your suites and I just wish yo had a bath tub. Maybe it is something you might want to consider over a powder room:) We loved the heated floors! The toilet seat with all those options! A separate/enclosed shower and toilet area was a great idea! And I just love the layout of the room. The fact that you can convert it to a one bedroom unit or open up the room into a studio type is a brilliant idea! You can still have some privacy if you have guests around.

The Regency is a great address in Samarkand, and probably the best hotel we stayed in during our time in UZ. The rooms were very modern and luxurious, and the staff were very friendly. Even when we ran into trouble the night after our checkout (the train did not arrive), Jasur from Guest Relations organized a driver to take us to Tashkent instead. This is above and beyond regular hotel service and was much appreciated.

Everything is wonderful in the hotel, the reception staff receives you with a welcome and a beautiful smile, and I dealt with Ms. Nilufar in a sophisticated and polite manner. She offers you everything you need, and all the staff have a nice style, the hotel is very clean, the breakfast is varied and delicious, and there is a bus that connects you to the tourist places and the market for free, and the hotel’s surroundings are full of events and fun, me and my family We all enjoyed our stay at the hotel .. It was our first time in Samarkand and we were already a few legs into a very long trip and Ozoda just made the trip even better with an upgrade! She gave us a canal-view suite with an amazing view. The Silk Road strip is a bit far from the city, so it's refreshing to return to a much calmer side. Breakfast was smooth and I love that there were tons of healthy options with a good mix of local picks. I couldn't get enough of the halva! It relieved a lot of the stress that we got from the long road trips. Oh, and Ozoda was even so generous that she arranged for a car transfer for us! Our train reservation didn't come through so we had to come up with another transfer option for Tashkent and lo and behold, we got right at the hotel! I can't wait for our next trip back!!!

It's located right on the road and easily accessible. Easy to call a taxi using Yandex go app, and they have a staff who speaks English very well. The other staff were very friendly. The internet connectivity is great.
