They will also advise you for the locations to see and even may arrange you tours in Khiva and near locations. If you are arriving early in the morning, before your check-in time, then ask the hotel for breakfast service because the restaurants outside the hotel will probably be closed. The breakfast in the hotel is fine. My advice is to book your room, including breakfast. The hotel is clean (I hope they keep it as clean as possible all the time), and the stuff is very friendly and sincere.

We were delighted with our experience in this hotel. It's location is superb - inside the old city of Khiva but one street away from the central square, which made it very quiet and peaceful. All the attractions were within walking distance of the hotel. Our host, Zia, was very friendly and treated us like family - all of us liked her very much. The hotel rooms were comfortable with all the facilities advertised. The breakfast was superb and almost unending - after a point, we had to ask Zia to stop bringing us food because we were full. She also recommended some excellent restaurants for lunch and dinner. At the end of our stay, she also arranged for a minivan to take us to Urgench Airport for a reasonable price.

This was perfect; my first stop in Uzbekistan after a very long trip. Hotel arranged taxi was waiting at airport, owner met me at front door on arrival and had fantastic breakfast ready in minutes. Room was large and importantly dark and cool on a very hot day/week. Very nice bathroom as well. Small personal hotel as opposed to large tourist hotels you often find. Good WiFi. Location is quiet, but only 5-10 minute walk to most major sites in Khiva. I was only in Khiva 2 days (I think that is enough unless you do day tours out of the city) but would have happily stayed at Khiva Amir Tora for several more days just for the comfort.

Everything was exceptional since the very first minute they came to pick us up at Urgench airport. The location is great, right next to the East Gate, and the rooms are big and comfortable. We had such an awesome experience with the family and we spent New year's Eve with them. It was the perfect stay, more than we could have ever asked for. They are so lovely and caring and they definitely have the best cook in Uzbekistan! Our New year's Eve celebration with the family was just amazing, I had only seen such a celebration in films before! I hope we see them again next year, insha'Allah.
