My company was celebrating its 100th anniversary at The Kansas City Club. Most hotels within a 5 mile radius of the event were charging outrageous rates for an overnight stay, so I investigated a little further to see if I could find anything that was more cost effective. I discovered the 2-bedroom, 1 bath apartment on Booking.com and secured it as soon as possible. The price was about 1/2 of what most of the hotels were charging, and the location was 2 blocks from the event. Perfect! The room(s) were comfortable, clean, and in a secure location. I would highly recommend for anyone staying in the vicinity of the Power and Light District!
