The room was very big and it was nice and clean. They gave us hot water even if the electricity wasn't working. The staff was very nice, they even brought us dinner right in the room.

Great place to relax after the gorilla tracking and enjoy the view from the terrace! Richard is the perfect host: he helped us organize the gorilla tracking close to the lodge, he took us on a culture walk to meet the local tribe and he made fire every night to sit by :) Highly recommended!
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
Bullbush River Camp offers a nice location right next to Ntungwe River. Sadly, they are just recovering from a flood and things are not back to normal yet. Everything is a little bit run down and needs refurbishment. The pool which we were really looking forward to was out of order. Water supply for the cabins run out twice during our stay.
If the owner decides to fresh it up again, it might Look like on the photos again. But right now, we were disappointed.
The location is peaceful and the cottage is very nice near the river. Very close to Ishasha Gate so perfect for early morning safaris. The food is very good.
located right next to the river and 10 mins drive to Southern QE park entrance this camp is in a good location for game drives in the area. reasonably basic rooms for a good price, clean and nice hot showers.
The rooms where amazing, very clean and everything well managed in every single details. The personnel was amazing too, very kind, they helped us in everything and they were very welcoming. Very good food coocked by their chef. I would have liked to stay there for more time. During the night they switched on a camp fire and it was very nice being there under the stars.
The position is perfect too, on the river and 5 minutes by car from the ishasha gate. I totally recommend it.
