Max was super relaxed, the set up was great, Max explained the safe, the breakfast, and how everything worked. the breakfast was different everyday, the staff were quick and really friendly. Max organised picking us up from our last hotel to the bungalow and organised the taxi to the airport. the bungalow was clean and tidy, staff changed towels and made the room up super quick each day. I had a massage with Rachel which I recommend, as was fantastic, and only around £25. the relaxing area was clean, and the toilet was super clean. food and drink was great and not too expensive. Max runs a tight ship and everything was perfect. drinking water was from a cooler so saving use of plastic bottles. please visit you won't be sorry. also close to the beach, and the small town and bars and restaurants. should be higher than 3 star. Beautiful location, attentive staff, recommend getting ocean view villa, have a private pool and plunge pool. The local wildelife bush baby's or monkeys can be a slight annoyance if choosing to have meals at villa, just means cannot leave food unattended. If you have any anxiety about insects/ crawlies - the lizards and occasional spider may frighten you. But otherwise their presence isnt a concern. The villa themselves are beautiful every day the staff leave a little sweet treat after cleaning your room.

First of all, we had a very warm welcome by Abdullah who was at reception and our check in and room was done earlier than expected. The Garden Villa room was amazing and so spacious. Water in the room was so warm throughout the day.
The location is the best on nungwi as the beach is on your doorstep. Mnemba island is a must. Finally the food and service was a 10/10. Amazing staff who always made sure everything was ok and provided all the information and assistance when required. The head chef kelash provided us with some amazing cuisines and brilliant hospitality. I will definitely be visiting again.

The hotel is well located, a short walk from Kendwa beach. The breakfast was satisfactory, with plenty of fruit options. The staff was helpful as we checked in late due to a delay in our flight. The room was very large and clean.

A nice hotel with a lovely little private garden. We were sick during our stay and really appreciated the garden - to be able to hang out there during the days and also use the little plunge pool. Clean room and super nice staff are other big plus with Zanzicrown. The location is not many steps from the beach, but still in a little private position. Which we liked.
If you want to see the ocean there is a roof terrace for that :-)
