like everyone has said, Agnes is amazing! Incredibly kind and accommodating. I came with 2 other friends and we arrived late and I left around 4am for an early flight. Agnes accommodated our late arrival and welcomed us with open arms, helped us settle in, and even woke up to greet me with breakfast at 4 o'clock in the morning! The beds are comfy and spacious and her family is all incredibly kind as well. 10/10 recommend!

The hotel is wonderful. It's far from the city center, but that's what we wanted since we wished to relax before our Kilimanjaro trek. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff is delightful and welcoming. If I ever go back to Arusha, I plan on staying there again. It's a beautiful oasis in a busy town. The food was delicious, especially breakfast.

Really nice, calm and clean room. Breakfast was amazing. They make whatever you like. Seems a bit outside center, but you can take the “badjadji”(tuk tuk) or taxi and you’re there in a minute. It is also ideally located if you want to visit a coffeefarm or one of the waterfalls. You can go for an organised trip or hike yourself like we did. Tip: negotiate the price for the taxi to citycenter and airport.

We ha a great stay at Utamaduni house. The house is lovely decorated and makes you feel at home. The bar in the garden is beautiful too. We had several times homemade dinner, what was ever time very delicious. The location is a bit outside the city center but you always find a driver via InDrive. For us this place was the perfect place for our pre- and post-safari. We could also leave some luggage there while on safari, what was super convenient. Thanks again for hosting us, Chris!

We stayed at Savannah House for two nights before and after our safari. We couldn’t have chosen a better place. the house is not in the city center - this means we were staying at a quiet street where we could sleep and rest. We walked to the restaurant nearby and all was super safe. Anthony and the team are the most amazing and kind hosts ever. They went above and beyond to help us, preparing early breakfasts, being always available for all questions, and offering a great smile every day. They also kept our bags on the safari days. It was amazing to see the sense of community is alive and well in Arusha and specially at Savannah House. We were just sad to had to leave and hope we can come back soon.
