For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
The hotel was simple and cheapish. I needed a place to stay since I missed the last bus back to Bangkok, and I didn't want to stay at the casinos in Cambodia or the expensive hotels next to the border market. The hotel offered free coffee, and free breakfast (chicken soup, Thai style, home made). I might stay again, if needed.
The hotel was spacious. The location is convenient if you have been traveling the whole day before reaching the town. There are lots of shops selling fruit, clothes and durable goods nearby in case you want to go on the hunt for a bargain. There is a train station nearby where you can catch a train to Bangkok. Also there is a coach station nearby in case you want to go somewhere else. ATM's are also nearby.
everything that was supposed to be in the economy room was there, clean, hot water, air conditioning working. I am satisfied, especially for this price
Room large, airy and comfortable. Large bathroom with hot water. Good location, shops and eateries opposite and walkable from the train station. Staff pleasant and friendly. Very clean. Good WiFi. Lovely gardens. 4k from the border so you can flag a tuk tuk if you're crossing. This is the second time we have stayed here, and will stay again.
Very convenient location close to the border right next to the main road. Everything was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfortable and it was quiet at night. I could park my bicycle right next to the room on the terrace. Very good value for the money.
Good location for Thailand
Visa run. Very clean ( but forgot sweeping balcony). Principally well
refurbished but rather recent fixtures
In bathroom loosely attached - just
the fault of the installers.
And I would have preferred a less hard mattress and a working reading light.
All in all good experience because of super friendly and supportive reception staff.
The receptionist was very polite and nice. Location is perfect to rest for one night after a long bus journey, it's a minute walk from the border. Lots of shops, and local food stalls nearby to have a cheap eat.
Nice staff and owner's smile is really a good point. Perfect location, it looks like a colonial alley, very clean, so quiet. Amazing place.
