the owner Jane was fascinating to talk to. she was very passionate about Sao Tome and has spent 30 years I think making the hotel what it is today. the hotel itself was very clean with wonderful gardens.

Excellent choice. Clean, safe, very nice staff. Comfortable beds. They even have a chocolate factory inside the hotel which gave an amazing smell going up and down the stairs.

The location right in the middle of the city is definitely the best attribute. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the AC is a bonus. If you stay on a room facing the street it might be a bit noisy during the night/early morning. But overall is a good value for what they charge.

The views are incredible and you can hear the ocean all throughout the property. You need to request if you want breakfast beforehand, which we didn't realize but was not a big deal we went out for breakfast.
The Location is great with a view over the Atlantic and the Santana Islet. The room are more than spacious, and the bed are very large. The staff was really welcoming and the hotel manager was really helpful for us as he took time to provide information and help to all of our request!
