The hosts for sure! They speak English. Simone was very helpful with tips about the area and what we can do or see she even arranged for us a nice desert for our dinner because the restaurant we wanted to order from had ran out of deserts.
The single rooms floor, where our daughter slept, (2nd floor) is renovated and look very new, shower is also good but the water stream is a bit weak.
Very clean and WiFi works well.
Breakfast was good, they will prepare the egg that you like (with ham and cheese if you want).
The rooms were affordable, comfortable, and had everything needed- plugs close to the bed, coat hangers, etc. The shared bathrooms were always available and spotlessly clean.
The hostel is in a quiet location away from traffic but people are talking outside and is not so peaceful if you want peace early in the evening. Although later in the night is quiet. The beds are comfortable. There are no air conditioners but with windows open rooms get cold. Facilities are clean. And the kitchen has everything you need for cooking.
Overall experience is positive and for the price, you get a great deal.
