My family recently stayed at Apartment AJDA in Komenda, Slovenia and it was a fantastic experience. The apartment itself is spacious and clean, with all the facilities you could need. Basically just bring your toothbrush and everything else was provided by the landlady that tends to spoil it's guests. The surroundings are incredibly quiet, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The location is also great - there are plenty of nearby restaurants to choose from and the Krvavec skiing resort is just a short drive away. Additionally, there are numerous sightseeing attractions and hiking opportunities in the area. The host was very friendly and helpful, and the free private parking space was a nice bonus. Overall, I would highly recommend Apartment AJDA - it offers great value for money and is an ideal base for exploring the area.
