Stavsmyra is a beautiful facility, an ideal place to relax. The house dates back to the 17th century, is in excellent condition and comfortably furnished. It has everything you could need, a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable bedroom, a fireplace, and a bathroom with a shower. Additionally, there is a sauna available, which we didn't use because we couldn't get away from the warmth of the fireplace. The area is quiet and perfect for walks. The owners welcomed us very warmly and showed us around the facility. I highly recommend this place!

We had a fantastic stay at Modernt & Rymligt Sommarhus! It was the perfect escape for our family, and our furry friend absolutely loved it too. The location is ideal - quiet and surrounded by beautiful nature. We saw plenty of wildlife during our walks, which was a real treat for the kids. Checking in was a breeze, which was a huge plus after a long journey. The house itself is even more spacious than the pictures depict. There was ample room for everyone to relax and spread out, making it ideal for both families and groups. But the highlights don't stop there! Here are some additional things we loved: Cozy fireplace, Perfect for stargazing at night, Fully equipped kitchen The kids especially enjoyed playing in the big backyard, We had some memorable evenings relaxing on the garden deck Overall, Modernt & Rymligt Sommarhus exceeded our expectations. We chose this alternative because as a family (2+2) we wanted to try a traditional Swedish house instead of a classic hotel or hostel. In the end, our choice turned out to be strategically excellent. We rented a car at the airport Skavsta (85 km from house) and were able to visit also other locations than just Stockholm (e.g. Drottningholm, Mariefred, Vasteras, Eskilstuna, Orebro). The accommodation is nicely furnished, clean, with a sufficiently equipped kitchen. In the kitchen, you also have ground coffee, tea and other small things that can be useful when preparing breakfast. The host provided us with information about the arrival in advance, everything went completely smoothly. We also liked that bed linen and towels were included in the price, which is not common in Swedish houses that are rented out by accommodation companies and you have to pay for them separately. We highly recommend this accommodation to families. Due to the cold and rainy weather, we didn't use the yard, grill or sauna, but everything is there...
