Very nice family at a beautiful place. Economy rooms were basic but ok. Outside terrace, wonderful service, atmosphere also with the other guest. Food was very tasty and good. The trip through the delta organized and hosted by the owner was incredible. Thanks for the good care!

We had a family trip there, the staff were very welcoming, they waited for us at the dock to walk us to their place, helping us with the luggage. The property has a beautiful and well maintained courtyard with a playground and trambuline for children which we enjoyed. The rooms were spacious and very clean, having everything we needed. The open areas (restaurant and terrace) were also spacious and clean. The food was also amazing and plentiful, madam Nicoleta and her staff made sure to appeal to all our needs, even when the child that was with us wanted to eat something other than fish, they didn't mind preparing a separate dish for him. She also helped us get into contact with local guides to take us on different trips. It was a great experience overall, would definitely recommend her place any time. And I can't stress this enough, the Delta and Easter specific dishes were really delicious, we couldn't help our selves from them, from the soups to the stuffed cabbages(sarmalute) and the deserts.

I visited Danube Delta over 20 times in the last 30 years. Casa Lac de Verde was a very nice surprise for us. It's as close as you can hope these days to experience directly the warmth of Romanian hospitality.
Location has an excellent panorama above the Danube and a cozy garden to enjoy it over a glass (or two) of wine -courtesy of the host!
Then you can enjoy a mouthwatering fish dinner freshly prepared by our host with local fish and garden vegetables. If only for this and it's worth coming back. Plus the countless stories over a cherry palinka (yes they have it!)
On premise you also have the chickens. And the ducks. And their tasty eggs in the morning. Yammy! I have a hard time deciding what I enjoyed the most: dinner or breakfast. Please try both. You'll thank me later...
Worth mentioning - very important for us! - the location is pet friendly. Our daschund enjoyed at least as much our stay!

Everything was very good. It is a wierd feeling in the best of ways and what I mean by this is that the hosts makes you feel that you are a part of theyr family and not some stranger. This is an incredible way to treat your guests that I for one did not encounter untill now.

We traveled with 2 kids and ware very happy from swimming pool in the location. We took apartment and there was enough space for our family. Host was communicative and helpful. You can order good food in the location (there is no shop or restaurant in the village). There is also summer kitchen if you take your own food. You can take an excursion with boat.
Incredible location, beautifully restored cottage, wonderfully helpful and thoughtful host. Had the absolute best time staying at Gorgova Delta Village, immersed in abundant nature and Laura was super helpful ahead of and throughout our stay- couldn't have hoped for more! We wandered, took boat trips, kayaked, cycled and enjoyed sunsets on the pontoon and veranda. Totally in love with the property and glorious surroundings, and very much hope to return one day soon!
Everything to the smallest details are according to the highest standards, let it be the building, comfortability, location. But above all is the hospitality what made the stay superior: owners and the great stuff passionately took care about our two families and made our stay just fantastic! The meals were outstanding, always freshly prepared and served with appetite appeal. If I knew before that fish can be such delicious…
