For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
I’m cycling the EV6 and so was happy that I was allowed to store my bicycle in my room. The room was a big size and newly refurbished.
I found a nice place to eat with good coffee in the central city, so hotel is in a good location. I didn’t try the hotel restaurant but it was good to know it was there. There was a kettle in the room!
Spacious room exactly as photographed (deluxe double), clean, quiet, great location, nice staff. Access to outside via a private door, it's ugly out there but so useful to hang the washing. We brought the bikes in, they were clean and there was lots of room. Good strong WiFi, lights, outlets and USB by the bed. Good value but not, due to the practical need to sleep.
Fantastic stay. The staff are lovely and helpful. The room was a good size with a TV, wifi and fridge. The bathroom was big, good shower. It is in a great location to walk to town.
