Our other booking cancelled our 2 families accommodation on the very day we were due to arrive and we had 7 children altogether with nowhere to stay for the night. Authentic old farmhouse with all its pros and cons. We loved it. There is plenty of space, nice tiles on the walls, a huge garden/farm, and the location is conveniently close both to the airport and the town.

It was close to porto but at the same time very quiet and safe. It offers a lot of room, the necessary equipment for a longer stay (washing machine for example) and the host was really nice. He gave us many local suggestions. A perfect bonus was also that it was so close to the airport ( don’t worry yu dont hear the sounds of airplanes).

This was the first place we stayed when we started the Camino Portugues. The person who had the keys lives in the building. I just sent a message when we arrived and she came down and let us in. The apartment is spacious and very comfortable. This is in a relatively quiet neighborhood just off the Camino.
