The owner was very kind with us, she waited to show us the house and even surpised us with some "presents".
The neighbours were very nice to us, we needed firelighters and some olive oil and they provide it with no problem.
About the house, is really well equiped (u even can wash clothes there). We were 3 but it has easily room for 6.
Very good point about the house is the sunrise. I advise u all to wake up earlier, its worth it! U do have a restaurant and a market relatively close that u can trust.

House is beautiful and place is very nice - perfect view on Pico. The house is spacious, suitable for big family. There are beautiful garden with all kind of fruit trees, plants. Village is very quiet. The hosts are supportive and easy to call/ask.

This place is a dream. Endless possibilities if you are water lovers: surfing, bodysurfing, swimming in the lagoon and countercurrent in the canal. It is possible to spearfishing, collect seafood and foraging wild herbs, which allow you to spend little or nothing if you cook your meals. The team is wonderful. Special thanks to the chef who offered me nine dinners with gluten-free menus, I couldn't do better even at home. The organization is perfect and the cleanliness is excellent. We had a wonderful stay at this spacious and comfortable house. The village is very calm and beautiful and perfect for a relaxing vacation.
Jaoa Paulo from Animatour picked us up at the terminal and drove us to the supermarket (none in the village). He then dropped us off at the start of a 4-kilometer easy hike into the village, and brought our bags to the house with an ATV. This was a very nice service, and it made our arrival and departure much easier.
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
The Location is good, with a Snack Bar Just downstairs and the only Shop nearby Just across the street. Everything you need is there and the Kitchen is Well equipped.
Location is good, however it depends on what you want. It is a remote village in the eastern margin of the island. Nice view, good facilities. Hosts are very friendly and helpful.
