The property is beautiful, genuine antique, beautifully kept, clean, with elegant walls, floors and ceilings. the workers all fluent in English, resourceful with excellent sightseeing tips. The view from the window was great. Advisable to park the car as they suggested in a nearby parking lot. before that, one unloads say it cases in front of the hotel with a plaque they supply for the car to enable standing there. it is best to leave the car in the parking lot and travel by foot I. Sinatra or by the 343 tourist bus. Their breakfast is superb in the cafe a short walking distance. it includes fresh fruit, egg, ham and cheese, a basket of breads and a special Portuguese pastry which changes daily. They have superb croissants for breakfast all included. A real treat.

I do not know a hotel which was more friendly and welcoming to the guests than the Camelia - and i visited well over 300. Top breakfast, spotlessly clean rooms, very close to the main attractions of Sintra, 2 minutes from the train station. We are really impressed and can’t understand those clients, who are not giving the maximum points for this property.
