We had a beautiful large room with so much character. It was clean and well appointed. The little kitchen was nice to have for the few evenings we ate in. It was so nice to find a pet friendly place to stay, as I was traveling with my cat. The breakfast was great! There were a number of choices available. The host was amazing. She was so kind and caring. She always took the time to greet us and ask if we needed anything. She shared her knowledge on where to shop for items we were looking for. When my husband took ill, her concern was touching and sincere. We would highly recommend this hotel. We stayed a week and would go back in a heartbeat. It felt like home

The fact that the host drove to the bus station to pick us up and take us to the property. This saved us the hassle of finding out how to reach the property, which was outside the city centre. refurbished classic coimbra building. our unit was on the top floor, attic/loft studio. high ceilings, lots of space, modern, well appointed and equipped. free street parking (though during the day they are often full). very helpful and welcoming host (bruno was on duty, nice guy). maybe a 10 minute walk up to the university or to the main tourist pedestrian street.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful hostel. It feels more like a bed and breakfast than a hostel if you reserve a private room. The room was impeccably clean, very comfortable, and breakfast was quite satisfying! The owners were also so thoughtful and kind, and take amazing care of the property! Even though it was a little rainy, the hiking nearby was really pretty, and it’s easy to hike or drive to explore a few of the schist villages from Lousã. We’d be thrilled to return!!

The location looking over the mountain & the veggie gardens and chickens at the back. A real sense of village life. The famous walk to the castle stared at the end of the lane. A great location for walkers with restaurants close by at the end of the day.
