excellent location facing the sea and looking directly across to the volcano on pico. Hosts very welcoming. They offer you the use of the kitchen and to sit anywhere in the house. They were most helpful and giving us advice on places to visit. Breakfast is not provided, but you can use the kitchen to prepare your own. Or dinner. Large bedroom. Everything very clean. Hosts speak English very well. located about 10 minutes outside of Velas and three minutes from a nearby restaurant.

Perched on the mountains of São Jorge Island, Cantinho offers a furnished terrace with an infinity pool and a hot tub. It offers luxurious, air-conditioned apartments with a private patio.

The suite has 2 decent sized bedrooms with king beds (2 twins together), which were very comfortable. One bedroom had a 3 piece ensuite bathroom and the other 3 piece bathroom was just down the hall from the 2nd bedroom. The kitchen had great appliances, including a washer and clothing steamer. We really enjoyed the patio area with inside views of the courtyard. It was a great location where we could easily walk to the gardens, harbour and shopping area.

We received a very warm welcome despite arriving really late aroun 11.20pm. In the morning we got a good breakfast and a good coffee. Everything was really clean and tidy in the common kitchen and taking good care of. Outside is a grilling station free to use with a nice place to sit. We would have stayed more days, sadly it was already booked. They even helped us getting a car for a good price

We loved staying at the Make It Happen Farm. Miguel, his girlfriend and Claudia were very friendly. The animals were so cute. We wanted to take them with us. You get every morning a fresh baked bread with homemade marmelade and local cheese. You could even pick fresh organic strawberries in the garden. We were very sad it leave the place and would love to come back for a longer time. Many thanks for having us. Highly recommend!
