We loved all of it: the beautiful riverfront view (on the Zezere one of Portugal’s prettiest rivers), the room, the delicious breakfast and the hospitality and interesting talks of the owners. It is also very close to Constância, a beautiful old village, and to the 1000 year old Almorol castle that used to belong to the templars. Highly recommended!

This place was exceptional. The view was phenomenal. It was impeccably clean. It was quiet, comfortable and everything you would ask for from a peaceful vacation by the river. Breakfast was also lovely. Doña Ana and Señor Manuel Thiago were fabulous hosts, and went above and beyond what was necessary to assist us. I would recommend this residence to anyone and I will definately return.

Lovely surroundings overlooking the river. Exceptionally clean accommodation and tastefully decorated in a rustic way. The "Casa da vizinha" a very different place to stay - a wood cabin with attic bedroom above main bedroom and separate living/ kitchen area. Very effective air conditioning in bedrooms. Fantastic terrace and lots of outdoor space with many trees, great little swimming pool and seating areas, pens with chickens, ducks, goats and a sheep. Owners live on site and are very welcoming , friendly and helpful. They had laid out snacks and drinks for us on arrival and brought us eggs. We had a super time and would highly recommend!

We loved Constancia! The accommodation is well located in the village so it was easy to walk everywhere. There is free parking just down the road if you have a car. The location is great being on the main square and is close to the local restaurants and facilities. The house is well equipped and spacious and gets plenty of natural light. There is always plenty of parking nearby and at night the house is quiet so you get a good sleep.
