The location itself is convenient, between the busy center of Espinho and the beach, close to every corner. you just go out of the room into the corridor, open the door and there is the ocean. wide sandy beach, safe (guarded) and not crowded (September).
Refreshing water, it is not the same as in Spain or Algarve, but it allows you to cool down when the heat comes. Also a convenient place for surfers, there are even a few specialized schools.

What a great place to stay in Furodouro. Rui and family were so pleasant and easy going - good sense of humour. Breakfast was fabulous. Location just perfect many restaurants and cafes near by. Beach was very near - Rui allowed us to borrow wind break and umbrella. Bikes from tourist info were free to hire for the day but get there early. We had a wonderful stay.

The host is super friendly and helpful. Made an early check in and late check-out possible. The location is great. Within 2 minutes you're at the beach, restaurants are nearby, a bakery next door and a supermarket 2 minutes away.
