I really liked this place - I probably would have stayed longer if it had been available. Compact - with everything you need - good kitchen, piping hot water, comfortable sitting area and a small but adequate outside area with table and chairs - ideal for drying smalls and getting a tan. The bed was comfortable and the linen good enough. Being at the end of the road the house was quiet, with only the occasional noise of tractors in the morning. There are several bars and cafes in the village a couple of hundred yards away. The location is good for visiting historical and other sites nearby. Given its price, I can't recommend this place more highly, and the hosts seemed really nice people, though as my portuguese is virtually non-existent, our communication was rather basic!

We had a wonderful stay in the middle of Alentejo. Amazing pool, a comfy house, and a great host that took good care of us during our stay at Kochab. We'll be coming back as soon as we have the chance!
