Location is perfect, landscape is very interesting. We travelled the island but I recommend walking around the accommodation as well. Bar for drinks and food is nearby. Communication with host was easy and pleasant. Host left for us some food and gift, thank you. Locals were very friendly, we felt really comfortable there.

Excellent cooking by Miguel, with a good selection of wine to go with it. We also appreciated the hosts' almost perfect English - this does make us rather lazy in learning some Portuguese though! O Farrobo is well located for exploring this part of the island, with several small roads leading up toward the volcano for those who wish to climb it. We will definitely recommend this place & hosts to friends, both in Europe and Australia.
