Extremely kind hosts, very supportive and helpful and available with anything. Ideal place to visit all the area (car most likely needed though). We had a fantastic short break at this absolutely gorgeous place set in beautiful, peaceful countryside. Nuno and his staff were all very attentive and friendly, and the accommodation was well-equipped and spotlessly clean. We travelled with pets, so it was useful that the plentiful breakfast and dinner were brought to our own accommodation. We would highly recommend Quinta da Dourada to anyone looking for a peaceful escape. We hope to come back one day.

The location is beautiful, my request for earlier check in was allowed and I was given a quick tour of the place. There is a pool and Portalegre is just a 7-8minute drive away.
