Overall, our stay at this hotel was good, with clean facilities and friendly staff. However, there were a few drawbacks that impacted our experience.
Firstly, the price was a bit overpriced considering the location. The hotel is quite remote and far from any supermarket, which made it inconvenient for getting supplies.
Additionally, our experience at the pool was less than ideal. Some other customers were very loud and disruptive, making it difficult to enjoy the pool area. The pool itself is not very large, so the noise and crowding significantly detracted from the comfort of the experience.
Despite these issues, we still had a pleasant stay thanks to the hotel's overall quality and the attentive staff.

The location is perfect. In the middle of a small valley, far from towns and villages.
It is quiet, relaxing, comfortable, very well kept.
The whole precinct is very nice, with pool, sheep grazing below, and cats playing around.
The room has all amenities, well equipped kitchen, well furnished.
The bathroom is nice and spotless. The fireplace is very pleasant, specially on a cold rainy day.
I reached the place walking, it's a 10 km easy walk, no problem unless one has mobility issues.
Two kilometers uphill the quinta is village Trinta which has bakery, pharmacy, and a small village shop with the sweetest granny that has ever sold cheese to You.
Overall, the area feels very authentic, I very much enjoyed walking through the countryside and the villages.

The location is perfect for anyone who wishes an early start to walk the "Passadiços do Mondego" (https://passadicosdomondego.net/fotos/); also Videmonte is a small village full of charming houses, with many being renovated; there is a couple who produces really good bread in the old fashion and also has delicious honey and herb teas; there is also a cheese artisan cheese maker; there are sheep and goats and a shepherd that still takes them in and out of the village; many fresh and ready to be used water fountains, beautiful nature and silence all around

Owners and staff extremely helpful. Home-cooked meals were beautifully presented and many ingredients were from the property. Peaceful location with fabulous views of the Serra de Estrela.
The breakfast is the best ever… fresh first quality ingredients prepared with talent and love. Peaceful and beautiful location, very friendly service… Josper and Antonia are doing an awesome work! 😊❤️
This is an off the beaten path location that offers all comfort of the modern life in a rural setting. The hosts are very friendly and make all efforts to provide a comfortable stay. Also, they are trying to run the place based on sustainability and environmentally friendly principles. The food is mainly based on locally sourced products, as well as fresh fruits and vegetables from their garden. Great and nutritious breakfast - including cold cuts, local products, fresh smoothies, fruits and vegetables from the garden.
