Everything about this apartment was amazing. I can’t recommend it enough. The setting is beyond spectacular, well worth the extra drive from Funchal. The village is quaint and friendly, with a food market just up the street and beautiful trails nearby. The apartment is large, yet still cozy, and well maintained. And the hosts are wonderful. I can’t say enough about this apartment. It exceeded my expectations in every way. I’m hoping to be back as soon as possible.

In the kitchen everything is what you need. Nearby is the little bar open till very late. It was the perfect house for us. With a car you can reach everything within an hour. Great location with excellent views. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Onsite restaurant was also really good. Overall a great base for exploring the mountains. I have seen some reviews complaining about facilities - yes it's not a 5 star luxury hotel but you arent paying those prices. Would certainly stay again

Staying at this villa was really cool and super comfortable. The view of the valley was awesome, and we loved hanging out on the balcony. It had a hot tub and lots of seats, making it a great place for all of us to chill and talk. The design of the villa was really neat and comfortable, with lots of light making the place feel big and welcoming. The villa had everything we needed. The TV was huge and we watch some movies, and the kitchen had all we needed to cook, including a coffee machine with lots of coffee and tea options. The owner was really nice, showing us around the villa and present us some wine and travel advises. Our stay was really enjoyable, thanks to the all features of the villa and the thoughtful touches from the owner.
