Location is great, hotel is charming and so we'll restored. Keeping the original stone walls in the reception showcases what masons were capable of back then.

The room was well appointed and the view over the pool, garden and town was pleasant. Being able to walk to the town from the property was beneficial. The garden was beautiful.

Perfect place to chill out
You will feel away from the beloved Douro area but still very closed by car throught lovely roads
The owners are very discret so that you feel at home. We had the house above the river perfect fot two with everything you need for cooking and sleeping like babys with the river sound and thick stone walls...amazing!
Opposite of the gate, there is a nice path along the river for walking jogging.
Enjoy Quinta Reciaō like we did...
Note that you will need a car as there is nothing ecxept peace walkable around.

You can enjoy your breakfast at the local bakery, the only pastry shop in town, or the host can bring it back to your room. The balcony has a nice view. There is free parking on the roadside.
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
The unbelievable location it is stunning. The railway 🚂 is marvelous, adjacent and great value for trips along the valley. Manuala was fantastic and the local people generous and welcoming. Just a fantastic few days of bliss.
Everything was perfect, from the moment we got of the train at Covelinhas station (do yourself a favour and take the train from Porto, unique experience) where we were met by Nunu, to Christina’s amazing food, the pool, the wine, the location, the view… Our stay here was simply amazing. It felt like home away from home, an intimate experience so different from larger hotels. We thank Christina and Nunu for the stay, and we hope to come back another time.
Location is beautiful, owners are super welcoming and go above and beyond to ensure that you have a memorable stay - starting with home grown fruits
In the apartment, home cooked breakfast and optional dinner (very tasty!) as well as helpful tips on what to do around the area. Absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely come back again if we’re in Portugal in the future.
Beautiful region and peaceful location. Lovely hosts and very good food. We felt very welcome here.
Very nice swimming pool with view on the vineyards and on site parking. We recommend his homemade port.
We had a wonderful stay here and would love to visit again.
Apart from the grounds and location being beautiful, the hosts and food made the experience unforgettable.
This felt like more of a visit with friends or family than a B&B. With only 3 rooms, it has a lovely feel to it and we were lucky to stay at the same time as two other couples so each night was a dinner with friends.
The homemade food was incredible!
It was very hard to leave this place to go home.
Christina and Nunno were wonderful hosts and demonstrated so much pride and passion for what they're doing. I highly recommend planning to stay for dinner each night of your stay. The room was comfortable and well appointed. Water pressure and hot water were good. WiFi was reliable. The location is so picturesque, I'd absolutely stay here again.
Cristina & Nuno are fantastic, they are perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble and they are fun and interesting to talk to
The room was lovely. The food is varied and of high quality and all home made
We came from Porto by train which was easy and cheap but do check train times
Local walks are challenging but doable and are on Komoot
It is an excellent location for chill out
Nuno and Christina are marvelous hosts, and the meals they served were superb. Definitely book yourselves in for the dinners they provide - well worth the 25 euros. It is a lovely, quiet area, and while the drive in does pose a challenge, the benefit you receive is an ideal stay in a charming location. Highly recommended!
