Really surprised by this brilliant guest house and location in Batalha. We booked it as a place with a pool to spend a few days between trips to Lisbon and Porto - what a great decision. There's so much more to do in the area than we realised. It's rural but easy access to the silver coast and surrounded by history and adventure. Our two teenagers loved being at the poolside and felt really safe here. We stayed for four nights and could easily have stayed longer, visiting lots of places nearby. We timed it well with the big Festa to celebrate the battle of albujarrato so there was music every night in town. This area is great value for money for eating out compared to the big cities. Loved it and would definitely go back and recommend it to others. Having breakfast cooked for you is a great treat too. Beautiful location and views.

The room itself was large, comfortably furnished, the bed is comfortable, and there is a kitchen. Everything you might need for your stay. The location is, of course, ideal. Communication with the owner of the apartment took place by phone, he answered all questions, recommended several places to eat with a special discount code. We used the recommendation.
The location is super convenient. It's near the main sightseeing place in Batalha. The room was very clean and comfy. I recommend this place to visit with your family.
Wonderful rooms, small but cozy, very clean. My friends and I rented two and there was enough space for us to have dinner for four in one room. Check-in can be done on your own, but the owner still met us and showed us how to turn on the appliances. Historic building and amazing location.
The experience at this hotel went beyond our expectations. The staff was very friendly and professional, the facilities were very clean and the location was perfect.
The hotel is located a few tens of metres from the monastery, so is ideal for anyone visiting.
I ride a bike and arrived about noon. They let me leave my bike and luggage in the hotel so I could spend the afternoon sightseeing.
The room was spacious and well equipped with a good bathroom. Best of all was the Aircon also heated.
Due to COVID, breakfast was a bit packaged, but fresh and adequate. Great view of the monastery from the breakfast room.
Cheap kebab shop almost next door, for those in a budget.
