Casa do Mar stole our hearts! We loved everything about our stay. The view at sea and Faial is mesmerizing. The facilities in the house are superb, we cooked some lovely diners in the kitchen and enjoyed eating them on the shared terrace while enjoying the sunset. In the morning you are welcomed with a lovely breakfast and hot coffee. The bed and shower is good. There is osmosis tap water, therefore you do not have to buy big bottles of water. A huge supermarket is only 10min walking. The walk into town (Madalena) is only a few minutes where you can jump into the natural swimming pools, go for a nice diner or walk to the harbour to go for a whale watching tour. The interior of the house is very scandinavian and light, with lots of wood. As said… we loved it and if we ever visit Pico again we would definetely stay here again.

Special and very relaxing place in the middle of Pico vineyards. Rooms are very modern with private terrace and view to the ocean. Very nice breakfast with local produce. Restaurant is worth to try and also wines are really good (but expensive). You can walk to the small village (20 min) with nice restaurant and natural pools for swimming.

First of all the host and her family are the most accommodating and friendly people of the island ! Nothing is a problem and everything is possible !Secondly, the decoration, facilities, location… all that was perfect. A feeling to be home .Finally, the Pico welcoming plate was extremely touching, in this place you are handle as a temporary member of the family, this is wonderful !!!

This property was absolutely spectacular! If you are questioning whether you should book this villa, do not hesitate! The villa was exceptionally clean and well-stocked. Communication with the owner was excellent. It was easy to find the home and the views both in the front and back were fantastic. One of the best experiences we've ever had. I would highly recommend this property and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again if I ever returned to Pico Island.

We had a great stay overall in O Farrobo. It's a beautiful location, the food at breakfast and in the restaurant is authentic Portuguese food and really good and the rooms were everything we needed.
The hosts are amazing, very accomodating and made us feel at home. Would recommend to everyone
The location and the owners/ staff is nice. Also the breakfast was ok. We booked for six nights, but stayed only three nights. Reason see below.
For completeness I must say we were offered an other, better apartment after check-out, but we did not take advantage of that. - Why not from the beginning?
