Room is nice, very clean and quiet. Shared and fully-equipped kitchen is a great addition. But the best is José, the host - he is so caring, friendly and available, and gave us the best tips about the island. No matter what we needed, he made sure we had it. The house is fairly close to the airport and Ponta Delgada. Would 100% recommend a stay at Jose’s guesthouse.

Proximity to airport and car rental places as we did not want to take out a car at night (inspection purposes) when our flight landed and instead waited to the morning. As most people rent cars taxis are less common than at most airports. We were able to easily walk from the airport to the house andb later to the car place, around half hour leisurely.
