A lovely place to stay, central but on a quiet street. Room was a lovely size, clean & comfortable. Toiletries, tea/coffee (& treats), bottled water were provided and topped up daily. Safe/ hairdryer in room. Wi-Fi and air con were excellent. Didn’t see owner but communication was good thru What’s app and access codes provided on arrival day. We had an early flight into Faro and were able to leave our case in entrance hall until check in time. Would highly recommend.

Our 2nd stay at Roots Hotel.The staff are so friendly and helpful.We were able to check in early which was brilliant.Room was clean and bed comfy.
The bus and train stations are in walking distance so really convenient.
Also have use of a free coffee machine and enjoyed sitting in the patio area.

The layout was great. Great to have a quiet rooftop breakfast every morning. Kiitchen and fridge facilities make it easy to do this.
bathrooms were clean and not very busy despite all rooms being full. still felt quiet and comfortable.
Also, as its a social atmosphere, made friends within the accom which was great.
