A beautiful guest house based in an old style building with an amazing porch hidden in leaves of hundreds of plants. Eating breakfast there was a real pleasure especially when a family of cats (with kittens!) came to accompany me. The room had everything I needed and the building itself was decorated in the theme of Tolkien's books (I hope the map of the Shire will be finished one day! :) ). All in all an awesome place to rest after long bike trips to nearby Bory Tucholskie and Wdzydze National Parks.

Its location in a meadow with brilliant starlight (no competing light sources), honking cranes, and lowing cattle let us experience what the great grandparents left 150 plus years ago. We hired Stanley Frymark (Zamek Zaborski.com) to get to the villages, He knows: where the bodies are/were buried, backroads, shortcuts, navigating road construction, church doors hours, public restrooms and the best ice cream shops on hot days. It is a treat to have a capable, personable guide versus being lost on narrow rural roads competing for road space with gigantic harvest machinery. BIG PLUS: Wi-Fi, cell phone and smart TV all worked well.
