It was my first time in Boracay to celebrate my birthday and I appreciate the cake and I'm so lucky to experience a quiet and peaceful stay in this hostel as I planned. My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mandala Spa & Resort Villas, and our experience was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, especially when I sought their help in surprising my wife.
I had originally planned to surprise my wife with a bouquet from a local flower shop through the hotel. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, the flowers couldn’t be delivered on the day. However, the staff at Mandala quickly improvised, creating a beautiful bouquet from the vibrant tropical flowers growing around the resort. They even prepared a bath adorned with jasmine flowers, the national flower of the Philippines, which added a special touch to the experience. My wife was absolutely delighted!
The staff were consistently cheerful and kind throughout our stay. They even joined us for photos, making our time together all the more enjoyable. A particularly heartwarming moment occurred when I tipped the staff 200 pesos at checkout, suggesting they treat themselves to some ice cream in the heat. Later, when we returned to the hotel briefly, we saw them happily enjoying the ice cream together. It was a simple yet touching sight that left us with a smile.
The hotel itself is a serene oasis. Despite the surrounding area being a bit dusty and noisy, within the resort, everything was immaculately clean, peaceful, and well-maintained. The tranquility was a welcome escape from the bustle outside.
As for the dining experience, we were thoroughly impressed. The food, including the drinks, was delicious. My wife particularly enjoyed the mangosteen juice, while I couldn’t get enough of the Filipino dishes and egg-based meals.
The only minor inconvenience we encountered was the occasional lack of towel and toilet paper replenishment. We understand that this may be a cultural difference, as we are accustomed to having ample towels in Japan.

Very clean.Staff were excellent. They met all our requests in a very timely manner. They've even provided the needs of a sick family member. The location is great. It's quiet and private and has security. Clean room and facilities. Great outdoor pool and affordable meals in the restaurant. Breakfast has a variety and different every day. The location is excellent 2 minutes walk to Dmall but Frank can also drive you there if you want. I love staying in this hotel I extended my stay twice ended up staying for 10 nights. It was much cheaper booking directly with the hotel. My first 5 days was booked through booking.com and paid more. Much better value for money than some of the expensive hotels I stayed in Boracay
Everything! The room was spotless, comfortable, had unexpected extras like a minibar fridge and usb plugs by the bed. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even the animals were very well mannered and cute. Location is ideal!

The hostel is well looked after and mostly clean. They can change your bedding/ towel every 3rd night if you ask.

The location is ideal, it is a 5min walk from station 1 of white beach. And there is a laundrette a 2 min walk away.
Very cheap and affordable lodging for men who needs a room to stay/sleep in for the night. Their communal/dorm-type room was okay. It wasn't as clean as I thought it would be but passable for the price. The room was air-conditioned. So it's really up to you if you're okay sleeping in a room with other strangers. I stayed for a night for just P500 and that's cheap considering its location.
1. Most of the staffs are friendly and helpful (especially the managers who are very professional and attentive), some ground staffs are ignorant (if they don’t understand your English, they will just walk away pretending that they understand and left you hanging), housekeeping service was bad tho.

I was able to change my initial booking schedule and they even upgraded my room. The staff were very accommodating, especially Guia, who assisted me to get a good driver/tour guide for the land tour. The room is spacious and has good basic amenities. The price is relatively cheaper compared to other bigger properties in Station 1. Since the location is in Station 1, there are fewer people around and the beachfront is really beautiful. It was really nice to enjoy breakfast by the beach.
