We had the best time at Alejandra’s! We stayed 4 days with the family and they were the sweetest. We had the chance to fish and work in the potatoes and oignons fields with her daughters, and also made really nice bracelets!! Alejandra is a reel chef and made amazing food for us as well, most particularly the truita!! If you go there, you will be surrounded by many animals, we even witnessed the birth of baby pigs which was a really nice experience. If you want the comfort of a 4 stars hotel, this is not the place for you, but if you want to share nice moments and live the real experience of a Peruvian family by the Titicaca lake with the best people, this is for you!!! I really recommend it, it was amazing!! Kisses to Alejandra, Ruth, Luzdelia, Mariella, their aunt and baby Dylan! 💞💞

Teodora was really lovely and made sure that we felt at home, she is also an excellent cook! The place itself is clean, has a stunning view and is located in a really quiet area.

This hotel is authentic, our triple room had flair and was overlooking the yard. The couple taking care of us was very warm and accommodating, especially with the meals, as it was one vegetarian person in the family. We stood 3 nights and enjoyed it very much. The food was every day different and plenty. The price for the meals is different, it depends if it is vegetarian, it contains cheese, or fish or meat. Lake Titicaca is a flight of stairs away an there is a nice beach and clear water to take a dip (water temperature 10-12 degree). There are nice walks on the hills nearby to viewpoints and small ruins.

The perfect place to stay on Lake Titicaca; beautiful view of the lake from your room, lovely home cooked food; and Guido and his family are so lovely. We enjoyed walking the sheep and llama to the field, had a great kayak with Guido to a nearby beach, the best place to swim in the lake is right there in front of your room.

Henry and Mariluz are amazing hosts. Their house is very confortable with a nice view of the lake. The food is delicious and is cooked by the family using vegetables harvested from their own garden. On June is the best time of the year to see the stars and the Milky Way. The view is marvellous!! If you arrive by your own, ask for the guest house of Henry at the Inkatiana comunity because google maps does not work in the island. Also is good to know that the ferries to the island depart once a day at 7:30am from Puno's main port.
