Rose Marie was a most wonderful host, who went above and beyond when we encountered a problem with our car. We had a very relaxing stay at the hotel, and thoroughly enjoyed the delicious meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) served at the hotel restaurant each day. Indeed, we hadn’t planned on having all of our meals at the hotel restaurant, but such was the quality of the food and the relaxation we were experiencing that we decided to do so. We enjoyed long walks along the expansive, peaceful and relatively unspoiled beach surrounding the Punta Chame peninsula, followed by swims in the pool. We enjoyed drinks by the pool each evening. We enjoyed a great sleep each night in the very comfy beds. All in all, we had a most wonderful stay at Hotel Casa Amarilla, made all the more so by Rose Marie and her wonderful team.

We had an amazing experience at this kiteparadise in punta chame. We found this kite spot/school via booking.com. The spot is really amazing with wind the whole day between 14-28kts. The gear we rented for a price of $90 a day, which is really worth it, because we got to use perfect and new kites from Core and Cabrinha. The cabins are comfortable, and precisely what you need to hang out in between your kitesessions. The restaurant has great kitchen with local food and other worldly kitchens: burgers, pasta and noodles! In the evening it’s cosy to hang out with the other kiters and release the adrenaline a bit with a nice cocktail or cerveza. The personal is helpful friendly and made sure we have a safe kite experience, where you can start as a beginner (me) or learn to do your first kiteloops (my boyfriend)! Amazing place! Thank you!

I'd rate the facilities at 2/5, but with how helpful the owner was (5+/5), I'd put the place at 3.5/5.
Note that there is a gate, so if you need to leave early, youd need to inform owner about this, so that they open the gate.
I'd recommend the owners to stay at this apartment for 2 days themselves, to see the critical missing parts.

For the price I paid, I received an outstanding value from Hotel Casa Amarilla. The AC was very much appreciated on the days I stayed. the room size was commensurate with what one would expect from the price. The dinners were excellent. They did laundry for me for $5 (wish I could get that deal back at home :) Probably the thing that I thought was absolutely superb were the Espresso Martinis they were making me. Very satisfying :)
Is a great, place to stay and relax. I took the Cabaña for two persons, is a small but comfortable room, although it had no A/C it was very fresh and cozy. Restaurant is good, and the value overall was budget friendly.
the location and the concept was amazing. we really enjoyed the pool, walks on the beach. they have delicious coctails. the room was clean and had a strong AC and a stunning view. the kitchen is well equipped for modest cooking.

Great place! Very calm location, great attention, very nice staff, always looking for you. good food, enough quantities, simple but tasty. Internet is pretty fast (sometimes fall but that was not a real problem), they have an energy generator, they are pet friendly and were really nice to my pet.
