Remote location, small (but very well equipped) camp, so you don't feel you are in resort with a hundred people :) You have a chance to know people and spend quality time. Very friendly, helpful staff. Don't worry about coming with your 4x4 even if you are not experienced in this type of car - unless you are not experienced as a driver of any car 😉 They will help you with tyres and you are to follow the guide. Also, take a camel ride, we had sunrise, you can choose sunset.

We did the qaud in the desert at the sunset really funny and the night safari with a jeep. We stuck in the desert but our guide Mana was so nice and kind and he didn’t worry us. It was an amazing experience! The tent was super clean and spacious. The view was spectacular. We asked the host to pick us up from the city and it was a good decision. If you don't have experience driving on the dunes don't even try :) The camp is bit futher from the city and you feel like you're alone on the desert. I recommend taking the dinner.

Our stay at Rashid Desert Private Camp was one of a kind! Rashid is such a great and kind host, we felt very welcomed. We drank coffee and ate dates with him and had a really nice talk. He drove us to our booked camel ride close by, which we enjoyed a lot. He also joined us for the very delicious dinner and breakfast. We really liked how private the camp was, with only a few tents. All in all, it was a great experience that you shouldn’t miss out.

First of all: the Domes themselves are great - comfortable chairs and beds, good AC and restrooms. Spectacular Ride with 4x4, easy to handle (some guests got driven by the owner - 25 Rials are too much for this Service because they drive the way nevertheless more Times a day). Beautiful sunrise and sunset, spectacular starry sky with lots of shooting stars as well! We had two nights and spend one day reading and chilling in our dome which was awesome.

Although we had our own 4x4, the staff came to lead us to the campsite. It was nicely arranged in a way we could all sleep comfortably.

I have been to a lot of places in my life already and this is by far the most unique ever. I am definitely coming back. The owner is really friendly and we had a nice and cozy evening together with the other guests! And we saw the Milky Way!

Location is good, if you want something remote and in the desert and an authentic desert experience, it is ideal. The main reason we speak so positively is due to the staff, Murshid was out guide/driver/tour guide etc etc and went above and beyond. He was helpful, informative and honestly gave us the experience of a lifetime. Outside of the dome we had the best time we could ask for.
Great stay, very friendly staff and pretty property. The bed was the most comfortable one we had in our whole Oman’s stay, and the tent was very clean.

The drive to the location is easy, and a staff member drove with us to make sure we didn’t get lost.
This is my second stay at Saud’s camp. The standard of the camp is incredibly high with beautiful tents in a lovely quiet location.
The camp is quieter and more traditional than many of the other options. Just you, the sand, the sun, stars.
Saud is a great host, he has a wealth of good knowledge about the surrounding area and gives up a lot of his time sharing stories and laughing. Hes very easy to communicate with.
His staff are excellent and keep the camp very clean and your stomachs full. My thanks to both of them.
Amazing Omani welcome from Saud and his family. A stunning location with spotlessly clean and comfortable tents, with crisp linen and beautiful interior decoration. Delicious and plentiful buffet dinner taken in a traditional Omani tent setting, then sitting beside an open fire under the stars. This is a must visit location for anyone wanting to experience the beauty and tranquillity of the desert. And very fair value for money considering the amenities and warm hospitality. Family of 4 have a great experience at Clouds Desert Camp. Good location away from city and other camps , friendly staff, delicious food . The tent was big and clean , very comfortable. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We enjoyed the sunset-sunrise views, the dune bashing, and my kids left very happy with camel ride. Very affordable and acceptable price compared to other camps prices . Thanks, Salem, for a great desert experience. I highly recommend this camp to anyone visiting Oman's Wahiba Sands.
Incredibly friendly staff, lovely location on the top of the sand dunes not too far from the nearest town. One of the biggest and most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in, spotlessly clean (despite the sand) also offering a proper toilet, shower and wash hand basin. Evening meal is optional and was delicious. The camp camel was a bonus!
Alreem Chalet is a hidden gem in the desert. The chalet offers a refreshing swimming pool, ideal for a relaxing dip. The location is accessible by a two-wheel car, making it convenient for travelers. Highly recommended!
