It was close to the Hobbiton attraction and our host was exceptional, he was really helpful and kind. Very clean facilities, and most importantly a warm place to come back to. We appreciated having the little kitchenette where our host left some bits and bobs for breakfast, which was really convenient.

The location seems a little 'out of the way'. Yet, since I have a car found it easy to get to the places I need to be. The truth is that I would not have considered it because of the apparent isolation. The 'Field Days' meant that my choices were very limited. And I'm glad they were. The property was cosy, warm, and private. The bed very comfortable, and the facilities were fine. Even has a Espresso machine! Graeme was a thoughtful and kind host. If I had cause to return to the region would definitely stay again.
The unit was absolutely spotless - the cleaning staff did a beautiful job. The new manager gave a lovely warm welcome and farewell at the end. The bed was spacious and very comfortable. The room was great for my dog because it led out into a securely fenced area, complete with picnic tables. It is in an excellent location - on the main road, very close to shops. There are several good off-lead walks nearby which made my dog very happy.
Motel was very cheap, on a main road, hence a little noisy if you are not used to traffic, but not excessive and the room was comfortable. Had all the necessary requirements to self cater including to electric elements for cooking and all other normal basic amenities.The room was a good size and had an outlook towards a grassed area.
