Muesli was provided for breakfast which was an nice unexpected surprise also a couple of chocolates and coffee. Location was good, a little out of the city centre but not too far. Very close to get onto the river trail. Nice and quiet, very comfortable bed.

Everything was comfortable, clean and lovely. The staff look after you like family, couldn’t be nicer. The hotel has a bit of an art deco theme going on which is really nice and the location is fantastic, q10 minutes walk into the centre of town , 5 minutes walk to the art gallery, museum and NZ rugby museum. loved the fridge filled with cold bottles of water you could help yourself to. Totally recommend this hotel.

Jenny is the most fabulous host and was a pleasure to deal with. Our rooms were very clean and tidy and comfortable beds. The location is great just a short walk to everything. I highly recommend Big Five Motel - great value for money.

Location was very good and very quiet. Only 5 minute's walk from city center. The accommodation is a 30s style house owned by a non-English speaking Asian man. Though he was very friendly and left you to it. Ideal accommodation if your budgets not very good and you like it quiet. Excellent accommodation if you're from the Asian area of the world. I myself being from New Zealand will definitely be staying there again. Very easy to communicate with if you try.
It was very clean, the bed was very soft and comfortable and the receptionist was very lovely and friendly, there was information in the rooms on the close bars shopping centres restaurants and supermarket and was in a great location to walk to the plaza and paknsave. There was also breakfast available and was delivered to my door, the breakfast I had was delicious and quite cheap.
Lovely spacious room. Reception staff were fantastic to deal with. Room was very clean and inviting. It's one of my favourite rooms to stay in Palmerston North. Great location.
