Andre and Sonja’s property was wonderful, and they were incredibly friendly and hospitable. It was homey and warm during our stay which was cold and rainy. They have a beautiful yard looking out into the river and greenery, very peaceful and quiet for those looking for that. We look forward to being back when we have the chance to come down again.

Great location, easy access to Whakapapa and surrounding walks. The room was clean with basic amenities. We dined one evening at the Restaurant, the food was yum (Pasta of the Day and Beef Burger) and although we didn't drink alcohol on this visit, could see how reasonably priced drinks were.
Amazing location (next to the Schnapps Bar). Room, kitchen and bathrooms very clean and tidy. Nice and warm (almost too warm!). Bathrooms slightly dated but spotlessly clean. Dry room for ski gear is very useful. The climbing wall is great fun is the weather turns bad.
Perfect location,neat and tidy,bed so comfy and even better with the affordable price and lovely staff❤️.
Highly recommend for people who budget a little amount of money for their trip.
