Great modern house, great location - everything you need
For those on a budget, these cheap and cheerful hotels still have a lot to offer, with most offering WiFi and convenient locations. Popular with backpackers, many properties can be found in central locations and include comfortable rooms with private or shared bathrooms. You’ll also find a number of options which feature a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage.
Location was excellent in the Karangahake Gorge ideal for biking part of the Hauraki trail as well as easy access to do the Windows Walk which is spectacular. Rooms were clean with a great bbq facility and spa pool. Clean rooms and shared bathrooms. Excellent air conditioning in the rooms and comfy beds.
While the location is perfect, the place was comfy and affordable, it was the hosts who were super friendly, very accommodating, and took care of minute details, which was astounding!
The host Anita was an absolute gem, so friendly and kind. We had the family room, which was huge, with a kitchen and private bathroom. Our highlight of our stay was definitely the hot tub/spa. The location is ideal, walking distance to falls and other attractions in the area. The room was lovely, very clean and well put together. The kitchen had more than we expected. And we had our own balcony/courtyard with loungers and table overlooking stunning views. This place is definitely a gem!

Small twin bedroom but the kitchen and dining were on a grand scale.
I've been here before by myself in a cheaper room with a shared bathroom which was great, but the room with an ensuite was even more amazing than I expected! Really great place for any budget or type of travel. So many people pass through here but I've been twice now and there is so much to do!
